
The number of sales for the Corner/Kimberly/Warrior/Morris area increased in May 2010 over May 2009 significantly. However, the average sales price was reduced by $43,000 – an indication of a foreclosure driven market. To further support this theory we compared January-May of 2009 average sales price ($155,314) with January-May 2010 average sales price ($136,168) and saw a 22% decrease in the average sales price. DOM was compared for the same time period and saw an increase from 2009 at 95 days to 2010 at 154 days.
